Blue Shore Accountants are a small business accounting firm specialising in Annual Accounts, Tax, VAT, Bookkeeping, Payroll, CIS and more. Founded by Julian Gillett, an experienced accountant for over 30 years.
Campaign Objective and Project Background
With a look and feel of a website from the early 2010s, Blue Shore came to TBG Group with the desire to modernise their website, improve the user experience, and reflect their service offerings more effectively.
Blue Shore Accountants, with its long-standing presence in the small business accounting space thanks to their wealth of experience, is an online-only business, allowing their target market to be accessible from anywhere in the UK. This opened the doors for TBG Group to capitalise on this as a key sales anchor, which was used as part of the website’s key messaging throughout – personalised advice form the comfort of your own home.
Project execution
Working closely with Practice Manager Jessica Peart and Founder Julian Gillett, TBG Group helped establish the current main problems with the front-end website. The two main issues highlighted were a severely high bounce rate due to a poor user experience and a clear lack of reflection of the company’s service offerings.
With these two issues in mind, TBG Group got to work with the initial theme research, making sure the theme chosen closely matches the aims and objectives of the project in hand. A theme was picked and agreed with Blue Shore before initial wireframing and draft visuals were created to simulate the new user experience as well as the new look and feel.
With the visuals and new structure signed off, our team of website developers worked hard over the course of 6 months to construct a brand-new SEO and mobile-optimised website that meets exactly what Blue Shore were looking for. Dedicated landing pages were created for specific demographics of the target audience; Startups, Sole Traders, Limited Companies just to name a few.
To help facilitate further content expansion, TBG Group also set-up a new Blogs page complimented with a content calendar for the rest of the 2023 calendar year which will help keep users engaged and aid SEO rankings against competitive keywords.
