Blue Shore Accountants are a small business accounting firm specialising in Annual Accounts, Tax, VAT, Bookkeeping, Payroll, CIS and more. Founded by Julian Gillett, an experienced accountant for over 30 years.
Campaign Objective and Project Background
With financial services being one of the hardest industries to promote due to the nature of its constraints, it’s no surprise that Blue Shore Accountants came to financial specialists TBG Group to outsource their social media marketing activities.
Blue Shore received very little in the way of engagements and leads via their Facebook platform at the time and were not using any other social platforms. Therefore, the main objective of this campaign was to expand and grow Blue Shore’s social media presence to generate further leads.
Project execution
TBG Group liaised closely with Jessica Peart at Blue Shore Accountants to run through our highly detailed onboarding document, tailor-made by TBG Group to ensure all key details of the client’s persona and needs were captured. This includes target audience factors such as:

With Blue Shore’s key target audience in mind, it was established that additional social media platforms were required to be utilised to further increase brand awareness. TBG Group setup and fully optimised Instagram and LinkedIn accounts before developing a bespoke content calendar consisting of educational, entertaining, and informative content.
Two posts per week were made as per the agreed content calendar, with daily engagement exercises conducted across all three platforms to conform with algorithms. TBG Group also utilised LinkedIn’s Newsletter function by posting a fortnightly newsletter consisting of the latest blog posts from Blue Shore’s website. Opening up an additional method of direct marketing to prospective customers across LinkedIn.
Alongside our robust content calendar, TBG Group kept a keen eye out for moment marketing opportunities and seasonal and industry-based posting ideas to capitalise on as part of our marketing strategy for Blue Shore Accountants.

Results

TBG Group have since increased Blue Shore’s follower count to 607 followers on Facebook, 318 followers on Instagram, and over 320 followers on LinkedIn, with 160 subscribers to the fortnightly newsletter.
